2012 Classes

Listed below are our new 2012 classes. If you have never taken one of our classes, we are sure you will find it an enjoyable experience. If you have taken our classes before, we thank you for your patronage and look forward to working with you again!

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, please call the course to find out if the class has been cancelled for the day. Most often, the class will be made up the day after the present class. Otherwise, it can be made up in other scheduled classes during the summer.

Itty Bitty Class
Ages 4, 5, 6

Two 1 1/4 hour classes for the "itty bitty" golfers!! Provide multiple positive learning experiences. Create imagination and have FUN! Teaching emphases on ball skills:  strike, control, throw, catch, along with "holding" the golf club, aim and stance. Introduction to "Twigs" Golf Course and play one hole.
Parents (adults) need to accompany their child. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required so that other registrants can be contacted to join the class.

Times and Registration

 
Three Day Beginner/Refresher Classes
Ages 7-14

Three 3-hour classes. An introduction of the game of golf, emphasizing the fundamentals of putting, chipping, and full swing, along with golf-related games. Etiquette and rules will be discussed. Last day play on "Twigs" Golf Course. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required so that other registrants can be contacted to join the class.

Ages 7-9

Ages 10-14

Intermediate Classes
Ages 7-14

Four 3-hour classes. These classes are geared to students who have completed beginner classes. The sessions review fundamentals, introduce bunker play and introduce rules and etiquette. Last two days will consist of play on the course. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required so that other registrants can be contacted to join the class.

Ages 7-9

Ages 10-14

 
Advanced 5-Day Camp
Ages 7-14

A five-day, 3-hour per day camp for advanced golfers. This is a comprehensive program geared toward golfers who have taken the beginner and intermediate programs. Content includes a review of the fundamentals. Rules, etiquette, and course management will be stressed with actual play during the last three days of the camp. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required so that other registrants can be contacted to join the class.
